I happened to be home and on the balcony when the storm was approaching from the West. First I tried to press the shutter whenever I saw a lightning, but I couldn’t react fast enough. So I set the camera on a tripod and left the shutter open for about 20 seconds hoping that the lightning would strike somewhere in the field of view. With a bit of luck and a lot of patience, I got two nice photos out of about 50.
